Directions: From Shreveport, La.:

Head southeast on LA-1/Market Street/US-71 toward Milam Street.
Make a slight left to stay on LA-1/Market Street/ US-71.
Take the ramp onto I-20 West.
Take Exit 17B to merge onto I-49 South toward Alexandria.
Take the exit onto I-10 East toward Baton Rouge.
Take the I-10 exit toward Slidell.
Keep left at the fork and follow signs for US-90. Make a slight left onto Girod.

Parking:

Parking is available in four public parking garages between the Louisiana Superdome and the New Orleans Arena Complex, which can accommodate about 5,000 vehicles.
The public parking garages are designated Nos. 1, 2, 5 and 6. Re-entry and overnight parking are prohibited. Check about specific parking for special events.

Transportation:

Public transportation is available throughout downtown New Orleans on the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (NORTA).

2011/12 New Orleans Hornets

Paul Silas and his Charlotte Hornets have been happy with new center Byron Mullens whom they picked up from the Oklahoma City Thunder, and the team is very pleased at the big man’s touch. While he was the third big in OKC behind Kendrick Perkins and Nazr Mohammed, in Charlotte he is thriving, scoring 48 points in his first four games versus 39 points in the last two season with the Thunder. The team is still waiting for G/F Reggie Williams to recover from knee surgery as well as F/C Eduardo Najera who also underwent knee surgery.
